I have been in the Army now for three years and I have honestly changed in a lot of ways. Mostly good of course but it has allowed me to become a leader for change. In high school I used to be a follower but the National Guard and ROTC have taught me to break out of my shell. Not only have my public speaking skills been enhanced but my thirst for helping others has sky rocketed. Being a leader isn’t always easy though. I have had doubts, worries and outright questioned myself for even joining the professional organization of the U.S. Army. At the end of the day though I know I have made the right decision and that every obstacle is new learning point for me. Without the Army I wouldn’t be the person I am today. This site is dedicated to helping out cadets who want to be Army officers and to give them advice on the profession they’re about to enter.
